What Is Your Admission Criteria?

Adults 18 and older experiencing the following may be eligible for admission to the Inpatient Program at Talas Harbor Behavioral Health:

  • Depression, feelings of loneliness, worthlessness or hopelessness
  • Suicidal or homicidal thoughts
  • Aggressive behavior toward self or others (includes self-harming behavior)
  • Dementia with related behavioral dysregulation
  • Worsening of psychosis including paranoia or delusional thoughts
  • Auditory or visual hallucinations
  • Prolonged emotional issues after a major life event
  • Behavioral changes related to medications
  • Sudden onset of increasing irritability
  • Excessive isolation
  • Disorganized behavior
  • Unable to care for self or difficulty managing daily activities
  • Increase or decrease in appetite or sleep
  • Requires detox from alcohol, prescription and/or illicit drugs

How Can I Make a Referral?

Talas Harbor Behavioral Health accepts referrals 24-hours a day. To make a referral, please contact the Intake Department at the Talas Harbor location nearest you. You can find a list of locations and contact information here.
